CAStudios is a creative interdisciplinary atelier working across the domains of art, architecture, urban design, landscape, performance, product design, couture, and cultural critique.
Embracing collaborative partnerships with artists, design professionals, industry bodies, and research institutions, CAStudios hybridizes generative procedures to materialise processes of time in order to reformulate and re-imagine the spatial hierarchies that characterize the lived spaces of our world.
Representation
Charles Anderson has been represented by some of Australia’s leading galleries including Anna Schwartz Gallery, Melbourne and Christine Abrahams Gallery Melbourne. Charles is currently represented through CAStudios.
Dr Charles Anderson
Charles Anderson is an artist and a landscape architect with over 30 years experience making and exhibiting work in Australia and around the world. He has a distinguished reputation as an artist and designer, and has received numerous awards for his work, from across the art, architecture and landscape architectural professions.
Charles has represented Australia in many significant international exhibitions including The Sydney Biennale and The Venice Architecture Biennale and has worked on a range of major public art and civic space projects throughout Australia and Asia.
Charles is Associate Professor in the School of Architecture and Urban Design at RMIT University where he pursues design research through studio teaching and supervision of PhD candidates from around the world.
Charles is a founding director of CAStudios and SAALA, award winning art and design practices based in Melbourne.
