The Anatomy Project

The Anatomy Project was conceived in April 1989 as an on-going collaboration between Charles Anderson and Russell Walsh. Its purpose is the exploration and development of ideas and other artistic concerns associated with the iconographic traditions of the 'anatomy lesson', a tradition epitomised, say, by Rembrant's "Anatomy(or Anatomy Lesson) of Dr Nicholaes Tulp (so called)', 1632.
