Art Practice & Exhibition

Charles Anderson has been a practising artist exhibiting though-out Australia and around the world since 1984.

Charles creates a kind of vagrant work variously inhabiting the ‘worlds’ of art, architecture, landscape architecture, urban design, performance, moving image, and couture. Embracing collaborative partnerships, Anderson hybridizes generative procedures to materialise processes of time in order to reformulate the spatial hierarchies that characterise the lived spaces of our world.

Charles has been represented by several of the leading galleries in Australia including Anna Schwartz Gallery and Christine Abrahams Gallery. He has represented Australia in major National and International Exhibitions and his work is held by most state and national galleries in Australia as well as in private collections in Japan, Germany, Italy, UK, North America, and China.

CAStudios is the organisational platform for Charles’ ongoing artistic explorations and exhibition practices.
